Now you might can't perform a like-to-like swap on a occurrence that has SPP SPGDE codes on them with an older box due to your business rules but that doesn't apply for the customer. You cannot have legacy services (L-TWC) and have worldbox receivers with Spectrum Guide (SPGDE) until they are upgraded to SPP coding. The spectrum store is bone dry of inventory but has a Cisco 4742 ODN laying around, the box is scanned in and appropriate SPP codes are assigned to the account for the box.įor the last fucking time, you CAN have older non-worldbox boxes on SPP coding, they are still classified as Spectrum Receivers. You need to realize that business rules are different between markets and departments.įor example, a SPP customer walks in to a Spectrum store and has a Worldbox STB with SPGDE code that has a hardware defect (doesn't power on anymore) and wants to swap it out, once it's scanned in and removed from biller, the SPGDE code usually goes with it. That may be a limitation for you, but it is not a driving limitation for a the customer nor a CSR. I work for L-TWC/L-BHN ICOMS markets, more specifically for SCS properties. Why couldn't they start small with a banner toward the bottom screen, and an option to choose for more info?

Strange enough it will let you setup via OSD on your TV to select channels (just like the clock display option) but it is no where to be found on the remote, unless i am missing something please chime in! I also HATE the info display whenever it is brought up. As such I'll have to channel-surf through hundreds of junk programs with the up/down channel key instead filtering unwanted ones through just by clicking on one 'favorite' button.

My BIGGEST irk with this thing is that it doesn't have the 'Favorite' channel feature. Now, what I hate about the new 210H (literally just got it today): it displays NOTHING, yes for some of you this might not be a big deal but for me I like glancing at the clock from time to time. It does what it suppose to do, like recording multiple shows in command, and above all, the darn thing displays the time and channel on-the-fly.

You can also allow access to only selected websites.
